Osprey chicks at the Cocoa Beach Country Club


Sorry for the phone camera quality. Ospreys raise chicks in a nest on this light pole overlooking the driving range every year at the Country Club. I don't know if it's the same pair every year but these birds live for 20 to 25 years and usually mate for life. You can see the adults taking mullet and other fish they've caught to the nest every day. They are quite noisy with almost constant chirping.
