Sea oats planting progress

Back in February I planted 96 sea oat seedlings on the beach out back. This is what it looked like on the day I planted. Click the pictures for a bigger size.





Four months later and all 96 are not only alive but are thriving. This is what they look like now.

Woody



I get to see lots of cool woodies across the street from my office. Treehouse Woods is one of if not the best restorer of woody wagons in the world. Eric had this beauty parked out front for a little while yesterday. Click on the link above to see more of these rarities.

Turtles and pogies



Fishermen in close this morning in the dead calm conditions netting pogies (menhaden) for bait while an early morning walker strolls past the tracks of a nesting sea turtle from last night.
