This is how the biggest south Cocoa Beach developer takes care of our dunes. Get the lawnmower and mow all the natural vegetation down to the sand. I suppose the idea is that the overpriced units will now sell having been unattractive because of the sea oats and other minimal natural vegetation. This is the same developer that massacred the dune at 24th St. and now is at it again at Ocean Paradise. If you are considering buying a new condo (not a great idea right now unless you can get one for half the current outrageous prices) please reconsider giving your money to a developer with this kind of blatant disregard for our shared resources. He's giving a big FU to all of us every time he does this.
One of the most beautiful parts of the beach are the dunes. What would possess that idiot to do that. I would hate to think there is a potential buyer out there who would think mowing the dunes actually make his condos more attractive.
