Endeavour preparing for it's last flight

Thanks to Tom Moler for the awesome shots of Endeavour as it readies for tomorrow morning's flight to it's final resting place in California. You can see more of Tom's artistry with the camera at http://www.ttmphotography.com/  In addition to shots like these Tom does great newborn/wedding photography.
[edit] Departure has been rescheduled for Wednesday (Sept. 19) morning. The 747 and shuttle will be doing a flyover along the beach after 7 AM.

I've been pinked!

Woke up this morning to a yard full of pink plastic flamingos and a cryptic sign.
I think I may be a victim of the Cocoa Beach High robotics team. I anticipate
an extortion attempt for flamingo removal to follow.
[edit] The ransom note just arrived. No wonder these kids win competitions.

Swell is here Cocoa Beach 9-4-2012

Stand-up paddleboarder in between sets before sunrise 9/4/2012
First three guys to hit the water this AM in south Cocoa Beach

Sets were head-high and powerful in south Cocoa Beach at daybreak.
Further north towards the Pier it was smaller and weaker but still fun.
