This is what everyone is fishing for in the surf lately.

Don't forget that flu shots are available today at Freedom 7 Center in Cocoa Beach from 10 AM until 2 PM.

Cocoa Beach Air Show Day 1

I missed all of Saturday's airshow as I was too far offshore to see anything. While we were catching snapper, sea bass and scamp, a few sailors enjoyed the show from just off the beach. Here's one returning as we made it back yesterday afternoon.

Air Show this weekend

Don't forget the airshow this weekend, Saturday and Sunday, noon til 3:30 over the ocean in Cocoa Beach. Military performers include the U.S. Air Force F-16 Viper Demo Team, U.S. Navy F-18 Hornet Demo Team, U.S. Army Golden Knights Parachute Team and the U.S. Air Force Reserve 920th Rescue Wing. See an F-22 Raptor flyover at noon on Sunday to start that day's show. The US Army Golden Knights are doing a night jump tonight sometime after 7 PM and will land in the middle of the kickoff party at the Cocoa Beach Pier.
