This is a shot from an excellent back porch looking west across the Banana River in far south Cocoa Beach.

Another one bites the dust

The run down apartments at the corner of southbound A1A and 9th St. South are no longer, having been reduced this week to a pile of rubble on a newly vacant lot. No news on what may be coming.

After the Deluge

August 25, 8th St. South, sunny sky and no rain after a week of Fay and a rumored 24"+ of rainfall in Cocoa Beach.

Best Seafood Market in Town

This is Seafood Atlantic in Port Canaveral next door to Grills and Sunrise Marina. It is the hands-down best seafood market on the beach. The fishing boats pull right up to the dock at the back door to unload. For those further south, the Green Turtle Market in Indian Harbor Beach has a mind-boggling selection of all sorts of prepared dishes, wines, seafood and exotic foods and condiments.
